The Salines beach
The Caretta caretta turtles have often chosen it over the years to lay their eggs. The long beach Le Saline is a tract of fine and almost white sand, reaching the hamlet of Pisciotta from Palinuro. The low sandy shallow, which stretches for several tens of meters beyond the shore, offers at different times of the day, suggestive, ever-changing color combinations.
Ficocella Beach
A spectacular bay where you can enjoy the sea in total relax a short walk from the town centre. Descending from the town of Palinuro and you will be in a small but well-equipped beach, partly free, even with a cliff. Crystal clear turquoise sea, suitable for children, and around an amphitheater of golden sand. From there you can enjoy amazing sunsets.
The port beach
The marvelous blue and trasparent Cilento sea is also distinguished in the immediate vicinity of a port, the Palinuro one, which doesn't have anything to envy to the intriguing coves characterising the coast line continuing towards the south. And beach lovers will find one of golden sand, small and quiet, right near the first dock.
Buondormire Beach
The overhanging rocks of Capo Palinuro are protecting it on one side. And in front, unmistakable , the great contour of the Scoglio del Coniglio, which contributes to making it even more unique. The Buon Dormire beach is among the most famous of Palinuro and among the most beautiful and appreciated of Cilento. With its golden sand covering also the shallow water and shows special reflections to the turquoise of the sea, it can be reached by sea with boats from the port of Palinuro. And always from the sea you can access to the splendid caves, which lend themselves to fascinating diving: the Blue Grotto of Cilento with intense blue reflections, the Sulphurous Grotto and the Grotta dei Monaci, whose colors and fragrances reveal the presence of sulfur, the Silver Grotto (Grotta Argento) , because the reflection of the light penetrating from the outside is silver-colored, and the Grotta del Sangue, due to the reddish rocks that give a particular red color to the sea.
Marinella Beach
Near the Buon Dormire beach, accessible by road, the Marinella is a corner of paradise with all the characteristics of the ideal beach: golden sand, crystal-clear sea and breathtaking views all around.
Natural Arch
The symbol of the village, at the mouth of the Mingardo, has been several times the location of films. There is a large beach with pebbles. The sun's rays, which at sunset enter through the opening of the arch, creating magical reflections contribute to making it special.
