Sannio corresponds to the province of Benevento, established in 1860, the least populous of Campania, which borders on Molise and Puglia, the provinces of Caserta and Avellino and the Metropolitan Area of Naples. It extends for 2,080 square kilometers, entirely in the interior of Campania, and includes 78 Municipalities. It can be reached thanks to the railway. By car with the A1 Autostrada del Sole Milano- Napoli, with the Autostrada A16 Naples-Bari motorway, the SS 88 dei Due Principati state road, the SS 7 Appia state road.
