The Phlegrean area, north of the city of Naples up to the border with the province of Caserta, overlooking the gulfs of Naples and Pozzuoli, is part of the Metropolitan Area of Naples. It can be reached from Naples with the Cumana Railway and the Circumflegrea Railway, which make several stops in various locations, or with the Metro line 2, with stops in Agnano and Pozzuoli, and with various bus lines. By sea, thanks to the port of Pozzuoli. Pozzuoli can be reached by car, leaving the motorway, via the Naples ring road (Tangenziale di Napoli) , at exit 12 of via Campana or from Formia with the SS7 quater state road, Pozzuoli-Arco Felice ring road exit.
