Itinerary guide

The ancient name of Irpinia identifies the province of Avellino, established in 1860, landlocked and bordering Puglia and Basilicata, with the provinces of Benevento and Salerno and the Metropolitan City of Naples. Its territory, which extends for 2,806 square kilometres, includes 118 Municipalities. It can be reached by railway, Napoli-Foggia line. By car with the Autostrada Napoli-Canosa A16 and with the Appia state road SS7, the Terra di Lavoro state road SS 7bis, the Puglie state road SS90, the Formicoso state road SS303, the Castelvetere state road SS400, the State Road SS401 of Alto Ofanto and Vulture, State Road SS425 of Sant'Angelo dei Lombardi, State Road Fondo Valle Sele SS691.
