I chose the way passing by the cemetery. It reminds me my teenage years.

However, I could make it quicker from the small square of Cartaromana, where hotels are surrounding the area, or by boat, from Ischia Ponte. The very thin strip of sand is now lukewarm, around 9 am. The Sant’Anna rocks on the left are filtering the eyes turned to the Castle. The “levantuolo” (morning breeze) makes you feel its beneficial effects: when there is high pressure, everything is clearer around. Between a swim and another, I lose myself recalling the pirates and armed fleets who have dropped the anchor in these parts.
