It is among the most beautiful Italian hamlets. In the Vietri sul Mare area, Albori is the smallest district and contains all the characteristic elements creating the splendours of the Coast of the Sirens: a group of coloured houses encircling the uplands, the covered alleys located on the hill and connecting it to the sea, the tower protecting the inlet, the magnificent panoramas you can admire from the different corners of the village. And a double soul, peasant and marine, which has distinguished the inhabitants over the centuries

In the square of the village, the seventeenth-century church of Santa Margherita di Antiochia towers over. It preserves interesting 17th century frescoes.

From the path connecting Albori to the nearby district of Raito, two hundred steps lead to the beach of Marina di Albori, joined by a wooden boardwalk to the wonderful beach of Torre di Albori.

And in Albori, the Parco Croce as well, founded by the daughter of the philosopher Benedetto, is currently managed by the WWF. At the foot of Mount Falerio, behind Albori, it is a small oasis, but precious for its biological diversity of animal and plant species. Thanks to the water of the spring “Il Cesare”, whose course is accompanied by tufts of maidenhair fern, you can see plants typical of the west environment, among which a botanical rarity like the Pinguicola hirtiflora, as well as the typical essences of the Mediterranean scrub. Many bird species, including the peregrine falcon and other day and night raptors; several mammals living in the wood, starting with foxes, badgers, stone Martens and boars; the presence of amphibious such as the spectacled salamander and reptiles, is significant.
