145 kilometers in twelve stages.

A loop route, starting and ending in Sanza and linking all fifteen villages on the heights that crown the Vallo di Diano, a World Heritage Site. Places united by a deep-rooted Byzantine religious tradition dating back to the early Middle Ages, when the cenobia and monasteries of the Greek monks who had landed in Cilento since the 7th century also spread in the Vallo. It was they who spread, along with the art of agriculture that brought so much prosperity to the local populations, the cult of certain saints of the Byzantine tradition who became patrons of the villages to which, in some cases, they also transmitted their own names: St. Michael, St. Arsenio, St. Onofrio, St. Elias, St. Antero. And devotion to Our Lady of Constantinople. An itinerary of faith and knowledge of the natural wonders and extraordinary historical-artistic-archaeological heritage preserved in the Wall, which follows the course of the Negro River, the ancient name of the Tanagro. A travel and life experience to which one can devote a week, or only 3-4 days for the more trained, or all twelve days of the planned stages, fully enjoying all their appeals.
