In Sannio, where the vineyards are protagonists of the hilly landscape, a tour that covers the entire winemaking process, following the traditional production methods and learning the long history of the local wine, with the guidance of an expert oenologist.
An entire morning to spend walking among vineyards and tasting local specialties, with a glass to toast the new wine to come. Then in the afternoon, We will visit a cellar to discover the ancient method of grape processing, bottling and aging in wooden barrels, keeping excellent labels. During the day, We will reveal those little “secrets” that can make a wine special and We will learn to recognize the scent and colors of the grapes, so that We can harvest them at the right degree of ripeness.
Day 1 :
• Arrival and accommodation in the B&B facilities;
• We will reach the wine estate, where the owner will welcome us and share his passion with us. We will discover every secrets of the production of the great Samnite wines, the techniques of the grape harvest. At the end of the morning, we will taste Aglianico and Falanghina in the heart of the vineyard.
• Return to the village, where we will take a guided e-bike tour around characteristic farmhouses and numerous churches, surrounded everywhere by works of art made with the famous Vitulano marble, also present at the Royal Palace of Caserta and Kremlin in Moscow;
• Typical local dinner in the name of traditional flavors and tastes
• Return to the B&B
