The Telesina Valley, in the north and north west of Taburno which it separates from the Matese mounts, extends in the central-western part of the Samnium, crossed by the river Calore and by the stream Titerno.
It corresponds to the lowest part of the Samnite area, between 50 and 150 meters of altitude. Close to Telese Terme, in the middle of the valley, you can see the homonym lake, of karst origin, formed after the earthquake in 1349. The districts of the valley of the Titerno Mountain Community.
