Mingardo Beach

Surrounded to the north by a pine forest and to the south by sand dunes, the long beach of the Mingardo is located between Palinuro and Marina di Camerota and is much loved by people from Cilento. To distinguish it is the fine white sand, which meets a cobalt blue sea between the foam. A unique show set up by Mother Nature.

Cala d’Arconte

Maritime pines and centuries-old olive trees form the green scenography to Cala d’Arconte beach with its fine golden sand. The walk connecting three other beaches starts here: Fenosa, Capo Grosso and Calanca, close to the town with white sand and sandy sloping seabed preferred by families.

Spiaggia di Lentiscelle

Not far from the town, Lentiscelle is a large golden sandy beach mixed with pebbles. It overlooks a dream sea, exceptionally with a high seabed which makes it not really suitable for families with children. The succession of grottoes in the in the rocks has increased the charm of the place: from the wonderful Grotta della Serratuea, to Grotta del Pesce, from Grotta dell’Autaro to Grotta del Poggio, to Grotta della Cala or of the prehistoric man. Beautiful panoramas accompany the walk to Torre della Zancale, between the Marine Area of Costa degli Infreschi and the hamlet of Marina di Camerota.

Cala del Pozzallo

Still wild, thanks the flourishing vegetation surrounding it, you can get to Marina di Camerota by a dirt road or by sea. Very popular, Cala del Pozzillo offers a beach of white pebbles and is surrounded by dark rocks which plunge into the sea.

Cala Bianca

An ancient path, on which you come across old ruins where clay was dried and cooked, leads to Cala Bianca, also reachable by sea. In 2014, it got the coveted recognition of “Italys’s most beautiful beach”, conquered thanks to the thick presence of mediterranean scrub, which is the background of the sandy beach mixed to white pebbles enhancing the blue of the sea on the seabed.

Iscolelli

In the Costa degli Infreschi, Masseta Marine Protected Area, there are some natural pools in white stone, protected from the open sea. Due to its characteristics and plant and animal species there, it is a sanctuary subjected to maximum protection.

Infreschi Oasis Bay

In the territory of Camerota, reachable by land through a path of great naturalistic beauty or from the sea, the small Baia degli Infreschi opens up along the jagged coast, an enchanting inlet overlooking the Gulf of Policastro and surrounded by the fragrant smells of juniper and mastic of the Mediterranean scrub that dominates the limestone rock. Famous for the cold fresh water springs that mix with the sea water from which it takes its name, it houses a cave that once made it a safe harbor for ancient sailing ships and a refuge for sailors. The clear seabed and the waters of absolute transparency have crowned it among the most sought-after destinations for admirers of marine beauty and beaches that can only be reached from the sea. It is protected by the Marine Protected Area of the same name.
